Well here we are once again, more snow on the forecast even though it should be Spring by now. I feel like we’ve had winter temperatures for far too long and I’ve about exhausted my wardrobe options — there are only so many times you can wear the same bulky sweaters, you know? I’ve really taken to layering, one because it’s so cold, and two, you get way more mileage out of your wardrobe.

The sweater is an oldie but goodie from H&M. It’s a lighter knit and is one of my favorites, but because it’s light, it needs something else when the thermostat hits rock bottom. So I added a recent purchase, this camo shirt from Urban Outfitters, snagged from the sale rack, much like everything else in my wardrobe.

Black jeans from Levis keep it looking a little more polished, and at the same time still super comfortable. I can go from meetings to work dressed like this, and I don’t have to worry about what I look like. Always great.

I love the slight tortoiseshell detail on the sunglasses — the boxy shape is balanced out and made just a little bit lighter. They’re more of a yellow tortoiseshell color, which I haven’t really seen before, and is one of the reasons I went for them. I like to keep the clothes simple, but go a little crazier with accessories. You can pick yours up on the Spy Optic site for $129.95.
