I love this place in Florence because it’s removed from the Duomo and filled with locals, has heavily cushioned booths on one side, a marble-topped bar in the center of things, and plenty of window seats. Oh, and the cappuccino is the best I had in the city. A great place to start your morning with a coffee and a book. It’s not too far from Piazza della Liberta, and therefore easily accessible — just grab one of the many busses that pass by, and you’ll be at the Duomo in no time.

(NB: I don’t have a picture of the cafe, but I figured this one of the Ponte Vecchio would do!)
