My first night in Copenhagen was spent wandering the city. I had a list of places to see and restaurants to visit, but when I’m traveling and fresh off the plane the last thing I want to do is stick to an itinerary. I like to stretch my legs, and wander around the neighborhood. So that’s what my friend and I did, and I’m glad that we did, as this is when we found Maven, which looked cozy and charming, and the perfect antidote to our jet lag.

I grew up in New England, so the old world vibe has always been homey for me. Maven looks like the Colonial thing I’m used to, but this is the real deal.
