I’m always on the lookout for grooming products that create less work for me. I want something that not only delivers, but overdelivers. Because that’s what good workers do, right?

I used to be an advocate of the “no poo” movement, where you forgo shampoos and just let your hair balance itself out naturally. Honestly, it totally works and after a week of grossness my hair never looked better. It was great for when I had longer locks, but when I decided to go for a shorter style I likewise started using more products, and needed something to help cleanse my hair.

The guys at Hanz de Fuko were kind of enough to send me their Natural Shampoo, and I have to say, I’m a convert.

Loaded with 16 natural plant extracts and 10 amino acids, this shampoo is packed with botanical goodness, and it also makes my hair look styled right out of the shower.

Well, after a hot second of drying time. But really — I just shampoo, air dry (or hair dryer if I’m running late (which is often)), and it looks like I actually spent time doing my hair. I’ve never had more people stop me on the street and ask for directions, which I assume means I look like a dapper gentleman, right?

Some of the goodness contained inside includes:
White & Red Tea, Spearmint, Eucalyptus, Pomegranate, Leon, Acai, Seaweed, Cactus, Clove, Sage, Apple, And Shea Butter

Formulated without any of the harsh chemicals, this shampoo is designed to bring the hair and scalp back to its natural, healthy state. The ingredients are supposed to moisturize both hair and scalp, and the product description says the shampoo will make your hair ticker, stronger, and more manageable. And I have to say, after a few weeks of using the product, I’m kind of ok with agreeing with those statements.

The shampoo is $16.50 on the Hanz de Fuko web site.
