Just a few steps away from Piazza Navona in Rome, Caffe Della Pace is one of my absolute favorite places in the Eternal City. Located on a corner, the cafe spills out into the cobblestone street during the summer months, with tables and chairs being the perfect place to sit down and relax and people watch. Ivy cascades down the facade of the building, and just down the street is a beautiful church, which serves as a rather surreal and stunning background for your evening chats.
I love this place for a drink with friends right before going out for the night. My recommendation for a summer drink in Italy is, of course, the Bellini — prosecco and peach nectar. Can’t be beat!
