Writing on the Wall

Well, it’s been a while, but here we are again. The summer has always been my favorite, and it seems like it goes by quicker every year. A long, wicked winter made sure I cherished every overly hot day. We’ve just had an Indian Summer, and while I enjoyed a last breath of warm weather, I think I’m ready for Fall.

Even though it’s been a while since I’ve been in school, September still sets off a creative process where I feel the need to wrap up everything I’ve been working on for the year. All of those unfinished drafts, unedited photos — the year is closing so it’s time to read the writing on the wall and take action.

I have a few book projects I’ve been working on for ages that I’m trying to wrap up, and I have a line of perfumes I need to start finalizing. The year has been crazy with work, so it’s been nice to have a bit of time to focus on my own work. It’s always feast or famine, so it’s been important to keep my own projects active so I always have something to work on and keep me focused.
