The Merits of a Baseball Sleeve

For someone who has never played an organized sport in his life, I’m surprisingly all about athletic inspired clothing. Give me a baseball sleeve any and every day and I’ll be happy. This sweatshirt was a little something different and I couldn’t help by snap it up and add it to my collection.

I think one of the reasons I like baseball t’s is because they remind me of warmer weather. Summer and all that goodness. Another reason I like them is because they instantly make your shoulders look broader, which is always a good thing for the guys. Hello heartthrob! The contrasting detail is an easy visual trick that works on everyone.

While a standard baseball t leaves the forearms bare, this one instead keeps them covered, using color blocking to achieve the same visual effect. Perfect for when it’s a little bit cooler outside.

Pair it with a pair of killer sunglasses and a baseball hat, and you’re good to go. The glasses here are the Beachwood from the Crosstown Collection from SpyOptic. A timeless classic and a great price for the quality, at $119.95 on the SpyOptic site. The watch was sent over from Rakani and features a bright red strap, the perfect pop of color.
