On a rainy day in Milan a woman was running late to a fashion show, her turquoise skirt becoming a blur of ottoman opulence, the turquoise color a beautiful contrast ot the red carpet that marked the way.

“The Landscape of Fashion” was an archival display of a long and varied body of work, with photos centered on travel and fashion. Drawing inspiration from runway images, coordinating travel imagery was selected to correspond to mood, palette, and scale.
Set within a two-bedroom suite at the Andaz 5th Avenue, the space featured sweeping views of Bryant Park, the New York Public Library, and the Empire State Building. Detailed scentscapes were provided by diptyque paris to augment the sensory experience, and one hundred black Baccara roses flown in from Ecuador filled the space.
