Korres Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturizer

I’m all about a simple skincare regime, and I usually stick to a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. I have my winter routine down pretty solid, but the moisturizer I usually use — Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica — is a bit too heavy for the summer months. I recently found the Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturizer from Korres and, ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.

This is a lightweight cream-gel which leaves skin soft, hydrated and balanced, while also providing a matte finish. Meaning it’s super silky and light, helps your skin bounce back after it’s been dehydrated in the summer sun, and will keep you from looking like a shiny mess.

I love how it feels cooling, glides on quickly, and readily absorbs into my skin. The fragrance is light and fresh, almost spa-like, and is enjoyable while also being muted and in the background.

The product is made up of 15% pomegranate water and pomegranate extract, which is a powerful antioxidant loaded with Vitamins A,C,E, as well as tannins and polyphenols, which help minimize the appearance of pores. Alpine willoherb extract helps provide a matte finish, while a healthy helping of haluronic acid provides a moisture boost.
