Julep Konjac Cleansing Sponge

Good skin is the foundation of my grooming routine, and it’s one of those things where a little bit of regular maintenance goes a long, long way. Bad hair days may come and go, but if your skin is on point you’re always going to be feeling good. Life is, after all, in the details.

My new go-to is the Julep Konjac Cleansing Sponge. This super-soft sponge is an all-natural exfoliant made from the fibrous root of the Japanese Konjac plant. This is gentle enough for daily use, and is actually enriched with charcoal for boosted clarifying results. It comes with a built in rope and there’s a suction cup so it’s easy to store anywhere.   Replace every 2-3 months, and you’re set. This is also 100% biodegradable, which is pretty amazing.

What you do is make sure its wet, and then massage your face in circular motion to exfoliate dead skin cells. It’s a great two minute routine in the morning (I use mine in the shower) and the result is glowing, refreshed skin. Seriously, I use this with just a bit of my favorite charcoal cleanser and my skin hasn’t looked this good in a long time. Make sure to rinse out any residual cleanser from your sponge and let it hang up to dry again.

Once I’m out of the shower I use a moisturizer, but I haven’t been using my usual serum because this cleanser has been making my skin look great.
