Who doesn’t like a good bargain on vintage stuff? I found the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market this past Sunday while I was wandering around, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only were there a wide array of knick knacks, clothes, and trinkets, but I thought the prices were all quite reasonable. The vendors were also friendly, or at least the few I encountered. More than happy to discuss purchases and haggling techniques, they were a final touch to the whole experience. Located on West 39th Street between 9th & 10th Avenues, the fun begins at 9am and goes until 5pm, every Saturday and Sunday, all year long, weather pending. In the end, I picked up the lovely lady you see here for $20 — and I didn’t even try and haggle. Sometimes it’s just love at first sight.
