Flour Bakery was always one of the few mysterious places in Boston for me. While I always lived in the center of the city, it was always just far enough from a Flour that I wouldn’t wander by very often on my own. Once I had one of their sticky buns, however, I happily made the journey on the regular.

The menu is actually pretty vast and varied, which means this place is perfect for a quick stop in the mornings, or for a sit down brunch with your lovelies. Their sandwich menu is fantastic, and I have to give a shout out to the smoked turkey, which is served with cranberry chutney and cheddar. Think Thanksgiving feasting, without the guilt. Also, let’s talk about the breakfast egg sandwich: go with the bacon, which together with the arugula, tomato, dijonaise, melty cheddar is a mouthwatering medley.

There are a few locations throughout the Boston area, so be sure to check out outposts in the South End, Central Square, and Back Bay.
