Elevated Casual Style

Elevated casuals have been having a bit of a moment lately, and I have to admit, I’m definitely on board with the trend. Keeping things simple with comfortable, accessible shapes just makes sense, and an attention to fit and fabrics is where everything comes together just right.

The shirt is a new acquisition, and I’m all about the built in pop of white. A grey shirt might be too simple, but the heavier knit of this one makes it a bit more presentable, and it’s just as comfortable at more informal business meetings as it is at brunch with friends.

The sunglasses are the Neptune from SpyOptic, and I love the larger square shape, which has a bit of an 80s vibe. The subtle fade to tortoiseshell is also a nice detail, and is something that brings up the whole look from “too casual” to “just right.”
