Easing into Fall

Usually I’m holding on to summer with everything I’ve got. The beach and the sand and the summer adventures, well, they’re pretty much what I live for. Recently New York City just had a wonderful romance with an Indian Summer, and while I was quite content to have a final few days in the warm weather, I think it was timed just right, and lingered just long enough.

This was my first attempt at Fall layers, and for most of the day I was just in the tank top. I took the “denim on denim” trend and did my own spin on it — a black, chambray pseudo denim shirt paired with a pair of loose fit, light wash jeans. The bold pop of the graphic print tank top adds just a bit of contrast, while giving the whole thing a casual vibe. And I rounded it out with my neon Adidas sneakers, which are my favorite go-to’s.
