Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap

I’m a believer that all-natural products are generally just better for you. When formulated right, these are products that will actually make your skin better, as opposed to just masking issues you may have.

Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap is one of my favorites, because it’s a super gentle, inexpensive yet luxurious body wash. Well, I use mine for body wash. The packaging, which is beautifully minimalist, says this is an 18-in-1 product.

Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap has olive, hemp, coconut, and palm oil for a nice lather, and these oils, with all of their individual benefits, leave your skin feeling super silky and smooth, but never greasy. Your skin is nourished and well taken care of, simple as that.

I go for the lavender version, which which helps calms nerves and soothes the body. Using this during my morning shower means the chaotic vibe of NYC is checked at the door, and I can ease into my daily routine.

I love this soap because you can get it just about anywhere — Duane Reade or Amazon, or even Whole Foods. Body wash, hand soap, whatever you need, this has you covered. It’s about $17 for a 32-ounce bottle that lasts forever. Perfect.
