I’m a very casual person, and it’s rare you’ll find me in a button up. My job doesn’t really require dressing up, and I like to keep things pretty minimal. I’m a big fan of stripes, but other than that, my clothes are more about the textiles — terry cloth, cotton slub, neoprene, and denim.

Recently the team over at Tailor4Less reached out and wanted me to test out their design process. The result is this gorgeous shirt — custom fit to me, no less. I was more than impressed with the process, and I would highly recommend you check it out — www.tailor4less.com.

I picked out the fabric, the cut, the lining, and even had it monogrammed with my initials. I went with a hidden placket because it’s my favorite design detail – it makes a shirt look crisp, clean, and put together, even if you’re wearing it with denim and sneakers, as I am here. To change things up I went with a crazy contrasting fabric for the lining of the sleeves and collar. It’s really about the details.
