Cafe M

A touch of Paris in Koreatown, Cafe M is a charming little place to duck in for a snack or a quick pick me up. The place is tiny, but there’s still a few tables to sit down at and relax, though I’ve only gotten my stuff to go. And what lovely stuff it is. The passion fruit macaron was something I’d never seen before, nor have I ever tasted something as delicious. It was sweet without being overly saccharine, and the flavor was quite strong, without feeling artificial or overbearing. Rich, and delightful, as a macaron should be. The coffee is quite delicious as well, and I went with the almond brioche the last time I stopped in — think of a piece challah french toast, cover it with almonds, and that’s basically what you’ve got. Interesting, to say the least, and tasty, too.
