Baxter of California Invigorating Body Wash

I’m always on the lookout for a good body wash, as I think they’re generally quicker and easier than bar soap, make less mess in the shower, and there’s no gross factor from a bar of soap slowly disintegrating over time.

New-to-me brand Baxter of California is one of the original men’s grooming brands created by Baxter Finley in 1965. Baxter of California’s approach is science plus nature, built from the ground up in California. They say they’re old school in concept, but high-tech in practice.

The team over at Baxter’s offered to send over a sample of their Invigorating Body Wash, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The body wash lives up to its name, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated, but not overly conditioned or too silky smooth. This is body wash for dudes, after all.

I’m a big fan of the Flora and Cassis scent, which is light and fades away right after you step out of the shower, so it won’t interact with any other scents you may be wearing. It’s light and refreshing, and reminds me a bit of the summertime, so it’s a great way to start your day.
