American Crew Liquid Wax

I’ll admit this one didn’t really seem of interest to me — I’ve tried the styling glues and waxes before, and let’s just say I always got the “fresh from the car wash” look. The new American Crew Liquid Wax, however, gave me a totally different look, and I have to admit I’m pretty into it. Less “wet” and more “matte,” with just enough hold to keep me looking styled.

I only used a little bit of this liquid wax, about the size of a large pea, and that seemed to be perfect for my super straight, shortish hair. It was just enough to give my hair some texture and just enough definition where I looked groomed without being overly done. If you have longer or thicker hair, you might need a bit more product.

This wax is unique because it allows you to run your fingers through your hair to refresh your look without worrying about messing it up. It’ll continue to look freshly styled, even if it gets mussed up a bit along the way. We’ve all used those gels and waxes where you can’t touch your hair, so this one was a nice change where touchable was a key part of the process.
